Thomas and I moved to lovely Lawrence, Kansas from Brownsville, Texas in 2015 to accept the Lead Pastor position at this church. During the week I currently serve as the Executive Director of Communications & Events. In this role, I work with all departments to assist with all verbal, visual and written communication and oversee all church wide event planning and delegation. On Sunday mornings, I take that “hat” off and simply enjoy being “the Pastor’s Wife” and a mama/friend to whoever needs me. Before and after Sunday services, you’ll often find me mingling in the lobby, ready to greet my church family with open arms for encouragement or prayer. During Sunday services, I constantly seek to hear God’s voice and heart toward His people and strive to encourage, exhort and boost faith in those moments when I minister.

I have served in various ministry roles since 2004 including youth ministry, children’s ministry, worship team, financial administration and administrative assistant. Each season was unique in growing me in my walk with the Lord, while also preparing me for the role I am honored to now carry alongside Thomas.

Speaking of Thomas, I married the absolute love of my life on January 22, 2005 and we have 4 amazing children ranging from Elementary age to High School teenagers and one adorable mini goldendoodle named Romo. We are in a really fun (and full!) season of life!

When I am not working on my laptop or attending one of our kids sporting events or activities, I love reading in quiet places, planning family outings or trips and cooking food that makes people’s hearts happy!
