Media & Marketing Coordinator
I am originally from the Gardner/Olathe area but came to Lawrence in 2021. My wife (Abbey) and I were married in August 2021. My career prior to Rev City included Public Safety, Financial Technology and Public Safety Technology. I am a deca-credentialed professional in the disciplines of Marketing, Customer Success, Customer Experience, Project Management, Sales and as a First Responder Chaplain.
My wife and I came in on a Sunday back in Jan 2023 and within weeks, knew this was the church for us. This quick transition to the Rev City family led us to start attending life groups and serving in a variety of ministries that only grew the family culture we have at Rev City.
My wife and I both grew up in Christian homes and learned about Christ's love and his relationship with us from a small age. Growing up I attended a very small pentecostal church where all of my family were on staff as licensed ministers. So I had a unique but positive perspective of balancing my walk with Christ and having my family support me in both a ministerial and family perspective.
I joined staff here at Rev City Church as the Marketing & Media Coordinator in July 2024. I had been serving within the Media team for a few years and had taken on a leadership position within the team. When the opportunity came to join the staff and share God's love through a variety of multi-media platforms, I couldn't resist. You will find our team sharing the Gospel on Sundays through the TV's in the lobby or through our online church platforms. Additionally I have the responsibilities of growing our online social media presence and being a person to build community for our online family outside of the building's physical four walls.
Although I'm specialized in a variety of functions through professional accreditation, I figured it was time to get my degree. So in my time away from the church you will either find me: studying, doing stuff with my family, at the shooting range, doing some consulting on the side, or doing a puzzle. I like to keep my mind extremely active.
