Ep. 99 - A Transcending Peace

MINISTRY MOMENT

God’s peace transcends all human understanding, meaning it doesn’t fully make sense to us. Why would we not want to seek Him to tap into that peace so when we encounter the struggles and hardships of life, so we can have a peace that to others doesn’t make sense.

PRAYER POINT

Father, we seek You to encounter true peace that can only be found with You. When our worlds are shaken around us we turn to You as our firm foundation. In You, God, we have peace in chaos and a peace that doesn’t make sense. Thank You Jesus for being the Prince of Peace and allowing us to encounter You. Amen.

GOING DEEPER

Key Verses to read and study: Philippians 4:6-9, Proverbs 14:30, and Romans 5:1. Notice in Philippians 4:9 the Word says, “put into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.” We must not only expect the God of peace to show up in our lives, but walk out His peace.

WALK IT OUT

Ask the Holy Spirit to sow peace within you, which is one of the Fruits of the Spirit. Try to remember where our peace comes from and in the middle of your heartache, chaos, brokenness, and busyness of this world, seek the One who has the power to calm storms.

SHARE WITH OTHERS

Encourage others in your home, school, community, and workplace that there is a peace that doesn't make sense and surpasses human understanding but is available to them in Christ.
