Do you find it easy (or hard) to trust in God’s plan for your life, even while you are walking through a season of trials and hardships?

PRAYER POINT

“Father, thank You that YOU have an amazing plan and purpose for my life. I thank You God, that even amidst suffering and pain, Your good plan for me and my life is still valid! Help me to see those plans and purposes even when it doesn’t make “sense.” Thank You for leading me and guiding me. In the name of Jesus, I pray, Amen!”

GOING DEEPER

Read and study Psalm 131.

WALK IT OUT

Remind yourself that it is okay to not always understand the many “whys” that we come up against in hard seasons. It’s in those seasons that we must lean into God and trust Him even more! When you find yourself fighting against fear and doubt (struggling to see God’s plan for your life), remind yourself of all the many times He has blessed you and shown up mightily in your hard circumstances.

If you see a close friend or family member struggling with trusting in God through a hard season, remind them of the Biblical truth found in Psalm 131. It’s good for all of us to be reminded that our Father in Heaven has a specific plan and purpose for us - even amidst pain and suffering. He has never left us or forsaken us!
