Have you found it easy for negative thoughts to overcome your mind? Are you finding it hard to fight back against those attacks? Be encouraged today, that God’s Word shows us how to have victory in this area of our lives! 

PRAYER POINT

Father, thank You that YOU have an amazing plan and purpose for my life. I recognize that it can be difficult to fight back against the attacks of Satan in my mind, but I know that as a child of God, I have power to resist and TAKE IT CAPTIVE. Thank You for being my help in times of need. In the name of Jesus, I pray, Amen!

GOING DEEPER

Read and study 2 Corinthians 10:5 and 1 Peter 5:8.

WALK IT OUT

1 Peter 5:8 says that our enemy, Satan, is like a prowling lion, looking for who he may devour. The truth is that we will encounter resistance and temptations in our mind, every single day. But that is where our battle is won! We can have confidence that in the name of Jesus, and in His mighty power in our lives, we can resist those temptations and take every thought captive.
