The Freedom of Forgiveness

To walk in freedom towards your future, you have to be set free of the pain of your past. You absolutely cannot run in freedom towards your future if you are weighed down by the pain of your past.
"I don’t want to hear any of you bragging about yourself or anyone else. Everything is already yours as a gift—Paul, Apollos, Peter, the world, life, death, the present, the future—all of it is yours, and you are privileged to be in union with Christ, who is in union with God." - 1 Corinthians 3:21
The present and the future — they belong to you. Do you notice what is missing – the past! Why? Because it belongs to Jesus. He purchased it at the cross.
