Are you finding it easy to entertain prideful thoughts, motives, or actions? Have you been through seasons where it has been difficult to walk in humility? Be encouraged today that God has the victory and freedom you need!

PRAYER POINT

Father, thank You that YOU have an amazing plan and purpose for my life. Thank You for sending Your son, Jesus, to pay the ultimate price for my sins and setting me free from the snare of pride. Thank You that through humility and obedience, I can resist the devil and find victory in Your presence. Thank You for leading me and guiding me. In the name of Jesus, I pray, Amen!

GOING DEEPER

Read and study Proverbs 16:18 and James 4:6-7.

WALK IT OUT

If you are experiencing “a fall” that follows pride, be encouraged that the Lord is still with you. He still loves you. Pick yourself up, resist the devil, and submit yourself to the Lord. If you have given your life to Jesus, His precious blood still covers and protects you. You have victory through Christ!

If you see a close friend or family member struggling with pride, make sure and encourage them with these truths in God’s Word. It’s good for all of us to be reminded that we should pursue humility and obedience before God. He is with us and He has victorious freedom for our lives!
