Ep. 470 - Be Still, My Refill

MINISTRY MOMENT

Much like it would be difficult to fill your cup at a soda fountain if it wasn’t still under the constant stream of beverage, the same is true for our lives of faith. We have to be still in order to receive our refill from God who is always constant.

PRAYER POINT

“Holy Spirit, I ask You to come and fill my cup today until I'm running over. I will make room for Your presence to overflow in my life by being still before You. Thank You for filling my cup until I overflow with Your love, joy, peace, and strength. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

WALK IT OUT

One practical way of being still for God’s refill is to intentionally make time where you can set aside distractions of your day-to-day life and get into the presence of God by getting into the promises of God and prayer to God.

God can work through the context of community by using you to remind one of your friends or family members who are going through a busy or overwhelming season to be still.
