REV CITY CHRISTIAN SCHOOL
We will be launching Rev City Christian School on Wednesday, September 8th, 2021 with a Meet the Teacher & Parent/Student Orientation on Tuesday, September 7th, 2021 at 6:00 PM.
We strongly encourage parents/guardians to ENROLL TODAY (below), as this will secure a spot for your student(s). Once classes reach a maximum capacity of 17 children per classroom, a wait list option will be enabled. Many families have expressed tremendous interest, so please ENROLL TODAY to secure a place for your child.
*If you have already filled out the original Preliminary Enrollment form and paid the $150 enrollment fee – your spot is secure. You do not need to fill out the newly designed form. Form updates were made for administrative purposes only and to enable wait lists for each classroom.

Rev City Christian School Values & Beliefs
FAITH BASED
We are unapologetically Christ-centered and will provide a faith-based atmosphere for
learning.
We will offer Bible instruction and lessons as part of an academic curriculum.
We will uphold a Biblical view of marriage, family and sexuality.
We will help students develop and embrace a Christian worldview and value system.
ACADEMIC & LEADERSHIP DRIVEN
We will have a high academic achievement emphasis.

We believe that ALL are created equal and deserve honor and opportunity. Therefore,
Critical Race Theory will not be included in our curriculum or teaching.

PERSONAL HEALTH DECISIONS
Parents will make their own personal health decisions for their families and children
regarding vaccines, masks, sex education, etc. Families will not be asked to disclose their
personal health information.

My passion is to equip children to be the light of God and see them grow to love Jesus. I am honored to serve as the Director of Rev City Christian Church.
My amazing wife, Beth and I have been married since 2011 and welcomed our son Finn into the world in 2016. We have attended Rev City since we moved to Lawrence in the summer of 2020. I serve on the media team at Rev City. Before joining the staff at Rev City, I worked several years at both Kansas State University and the University of Kansas. I received my undergraduate and master’s degrees at Kansas State.
During my free time, I love spending time with my family. Being a dad is one of the greatest blessings in the world.
Jodi Schlesener

I graduated from Washburn University in 1994 with a degree in Elementary Education with History and Language Arts being my areas of concentration and an emphasis in Psychology. When my five children became school age, I started homeschooling each of them. I homeschooled them all kindergarten through their senior year of high school. Last year I graduated my youngest child. This last summer, the Lord began speaking to me about teaching again, and here I am! I am thankful for the opportunity to be teaching in a Christian classroom, and I am so excited to see what God has planned for each student at Rev City Christian School.

I graduated from Baker University in 2012 with a degree in Secondary Education and Chemistry. I then worked at Shawnee Heights High School for 5 years teaching Earth & Space Science and Chemistry. After a couple years out of the classroom, I was excited for the opportunity to homeschool my two boys last year in 1st grade and preschool. The Lord has really been preparing my heart for this upcoming season and I am so excited to have this opportunity to serve as a teacher at Rev City Christian School.
