Ep. 158 - Standing for Unity

MINISTRY MOMENT

Do you live in unity with the people in your life - in your family, with your friends, and in the church? Do you battle with strife and discord in your relationships? You can pursue unity and receive the Lord’s blessings!

PRAYER POINT

Father, thank You for the people You have put in my life. I desire to live in unity in every relationship. Thank You that You have commanded blessing when we are in unity! Please make me mindful of any strife or discord, and teach me to pursue unity and peace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

GOING DEEPER

Read and study Psalm 133:1-3, Romans 12:18, Philippians 2:2, and Acts 2. See also Philippians 1:27 and 2 Corinthians 13:11.

WALK IT OUT

Be intentional to make sure you live in unity with the people in your life. Choose to put aside selfishness and the need to be “right” so that you can pursue unity.

SHARE WITH OTHERS

Be mindful of maintaining unity in your relationships. When you sense strife with others, make sure that you are pursuing peace and unity, and encourage others to seek unity also.
