Ep. 789 - Delight in the Lord

MINISTRY MOMENT

Do you delight in the Lord through time in His presence and His Word? Did you know that you can choose to delight in something? If you believe that it is important to read and study the Bible, you can choose to delight in it, and make it a priority in your life.

PRAYER POINT

"Dear Father, thank You for Your Word and Your Truth that You have given us in the Holy Scriptures. I choose to delight in Your Word, and I pray that as I spend time in it, that You will transform my life and my desires to align with Your truth! In Jesus’ name, Amen."

GOING DEEPER

Read and study Psalm 1:1-3, Psalm 40:8, and Psalm 37:4.

WALK IT OUT

If you believe that it is important to read and study the Bible, you can choose to desire it, and make it a priority in your life. And then choose to meditate on it, constantly thinking about what you read, and allow it to change your thoughts and actions throughout the day!

Share with others the truth that we can all choose to delight in the things that we see value in. Even if it’s not a natural desire, you can choose to delight in it and desire it because it is important to you!
