MINISTRY MOMENT

Ask the Lord to show you when and where your preparation comes up short. Ask the Lord to forgive you when your preparedness has been weak and ask Him for the strength to trust and increase your faith, which can lead to obedience, discipline and preparation.

PRAYER POINT

"Lord, please forgive me for the times I have failed to prepare. Please give me the discipline and faith required to prepare for the assignments and work You give me."

GOING DEEPER

Read and study Colossians 3:23-24. The principle of preparation is acting in obedience and faith, while trusting God and His results.

WALK IT OUT

Our preparation can be poor, but a Believer’s preparation should be excellent! We should seek excellence in our preparation, as preparing unto the Lord.

Be an encourager! If you admire the excellence in someone else’s work or preparation, then offer encouragement when and where appropriate. Ask the Lord to help you be an example of someone who prepares well, and who can inspire others in their preparation as well.
