Are you a patient person, or do you feel like your ability to trust the Lord is dependent on your circumstances?

PRAYER POINT

“Lord, help me to grow in my capacity to trust You at all times. Help my trust in You to become unwavering and unaffected by my circumstances. I give You my trust. I give You my hopes. I give You my dreams. Amen.”

GOING DEEPER

Read and study Lamentations 3:25-26, Galatians 5:22-23, Isaiah 40:31, Jeremiah 17:7-8, and Matthew 6:34.

WALK IT OUT

Sit down with the Lord and honestly assess where you are continuing to patiently wait on Him in different aspects of your life, and areas where you have quit trusting Him. Invite the Holy Spirit into the conversation and ask Him to highlight what the common denominator is between areas you are holding onto and areas where you have let go.

SHARE WITH OTHERS

Invite other friends you trust and admire to hold you accountable in areas in your life that you’re struggling to continue in trusting God. Oftentimes the thily value the most, are the most challenging to trust the Lord with.
