Ep. 794 - NOW Faith, New Year
MINISTRY MOMENT
Sometimes we can have faith by looking back on what God has done, like we just did with what God has done this year in the life of our church, and that builds our faith by looking back. We can sometimes have a lot of faith for what is to come down the road when God speaks a promise or calling over your life. You can cling onto what He spoke and have lots of faith. Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” The “now” in verse one of Hebrews 11 can be seen as intentionality by God to encourage us to have faith for and in the “NOW!” He has a calling for us in this year, this day, this season — to have faith NOW even when it seems hard to have faith!
PRAYER POINT
“Jesus, would You help me increase my faith for what YOU have in store for the new year! God, I am standing firm on Your Promises that say You ARE more than able to do exceedingly abundantly more than I ask, think, or imagine. Lord Jesus, as I start to imagine what this new year has in store for me, may I have the NOW faith to believe that this will be the best year yet! In Jesus’ name, Amen!”
GOING DEEPER
Read and study Hebrews 11:1 and Ephesians 3:20-21.
WALK IT OUT
This is the last day of the year, so make sure to take time, NOW, to seek and ask God what He would have you do in the new year as we turn the page! What are things that you can be asking, thinking, and imagining for 2026 so that God can do His part by doing MORE than you ASK, THINK, OR IMAGINE in the new year!
