Ep. 297 - The Towel

MINISTRY MOMENT

No matter what you’re going through right now, God hasn’t abandoned you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Don’t quit. He’s right beside you every step of the way. Don’t throw in the towel. Rally with it!

PRAYER POINT

“Dear God, help me to remember to cling to the promises in Your Word. You will never leave me nor forsake me. You work all things together for the good. If I’m off track, and experiencing roadblocks out of my own foolishness - help me get back on track. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

GOING DEEPER

Read, mediate and pray over Deuteronomy 31:6 and 2 Peter 1:3-11.

WALK IT OUT

Pause for a moment. Ask the Holy Spirit to highlight the areas in your life where you’re experiencing the most discouragement and adversity. Then ask Him to highlight the last thing He asked you to do. I would highly recommend you write it down. Sometimes we forget. If you don’t have a prayer journal I would encourage you to start. Sometimes we simply forget, but when we literally go back and read what the Lord has said, and what the Lord has done. It reminds us of His faithfulness in every circumstance and is spiritual rocket fuel for our faith.

SHARE WITH OTHERS

Scripture says that we are overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony (Revelation 12:11). God is writing your testimony. I would encourage you to intentionally seek out people who you know have walked through challenging seasons in life and come through on the other side not only having survived, but hopeful and closer to Jesus. Their testimonies will encourage you to keep running your race!
