Ep. 200 - It Can Happen Fast
MINISTRY MOMENT
We can rarely control our circumstances, but we can always control our attitude and how we respond. If you look at the aforementioned story of Joseph’s life, you will see that he was faithful in every situation he was put in. He was falsely imprisoned. He could have checked out - “quit.” Instead even while in prison he “shines” and is given a place of leadership. Don’t check out. You are too close. Your breakthrough is just around the corner.
PRAYER POINT
“Lord, I know that Your ways are higher than my ways. I know You’re good, kind and faithful. I may not understand what You’re doing right now, but I trust You. I know who You are and You’ve done nothing but proven Yourself faithful, over and over again.”
GOING DEEPER
Read Isaiah 46:9-10, Romans 8:28, Deuteronomy 7:9, and Revelation 12:11.
WALK IT OUT
Every day the Lord gives us an opportunity to control our attitude about how we navigate the metaphorical “cards” we’re dealt that day. Thank Him for the ways HE is giving you the opportunity to trust Him with your circumstances.
SHARE WITH OTHERS
Next time you’re in conversation with someone who is sharing a challenging situation that they are navigating, share with them the times you’ve seen the Lord prove Himself faithful for you.
