Ep. 498 - Faith That Wins

Mar 10, 2025

MINISTRY MOMENT

While there are many similar attributes between athletics and being an effective Christian, there is at least one area that is not the same. Read Ephesians 2:8-9. Think about the difference between how an athlete seeks improvement and what the Lord says is necessary to gain salvation. Let’s thank God today for His wonderful provision.

PRAYER POINT

“Dear Lord, thank You for Your wonderful free gift of salvation that we didn’t earn and can’t lose. Also, thank You for the Bible, which is our playbook that provides training and answers for how we can live the victorious Christian life. Amen.”

GOING DEEPER

Read Ephesians 2:1-10, Romans 12:1-8 and 2 Timothy 2:11-16.

WALK IT OUT

Commit to experiencing “teamwork” by joining with fellow Christians in a small group Bible study to grow your faith – remembering that “iron sharpens iron.”

SHARE WITH OTHERS

Be on the lookout for ways to “execute your training” by sharing with or encouraging someone who needs to see the love of Christ in action. Ask the Lord to work effectively through you.
