Ep. 308 - Holiness & Grace - Part II

Do you struggle with trying to be holy? Do you realize that it’s only by God’s grace and because of your position as “holy in His sight” that you can be holy in your day to day behavior? And the benefit of living holy lives is friendship with God!

PRAYER POINT

"Father, thank You that you have made me holy in Your Sight. Thank You for Your grace that empowers me to live holy in my thoughts, words, actions and choices. I choose to chase after holiness by Your grace that empowers me, and I thank You that You will reveal Yourself to me as I live for You! In Jesus’ name, Amen."

GOING DEEPER

Read and study 2 Corinthians 12:9, 2 Peter 1:2-3, Hebrews 12:14-15, John 14:21, and John 15:14.

WALK IT OUT

Remember to daily focus on God and pursue, or run after holiness with diligence through the empowerment of God’s grace. When you find yourself trying to be holy in your own strength, remind yourself that it’s only through your position as holy in His sight, and the empowerment of God’s grace that you can live holy in your day to day life.

SHARE WITH OTHERS

Encourage others to recognize that as believers, they are chosen and loved by God, have been made holy in God’s sight, and it’s from that position of holiness they are able to live a holy life. God’s grace is the empowerment they need to live out that life daily. And as they pursue God in holiness, they will find friendship with Him!
