Ep. 848 - A Different Perspective
MINISTRY MOMENT
Discouragement is often not a sign that God is absent, it could be evidence that God is setting the stage. In Exodus 5, things didn’t immediately improve after Moses obeyed God. In fact, they got worse. However, behind the scenes, God was positioning Pharaoh, Egypt, and Israel for a display of His power that would be remembered for generations. We have to remember, delays are not denials, and difficulty does not cancel destiny.
PRAYER POINT
"Father, thank You that You are always at work, even when I can’t see it. When discouragement creeps in and the promise feels delayed, help me trust Your heart and Your timing. Remind me of Your promises to free me, rescue me, and redeem me by Your mighty power. Strengthen my faith when circumstances feel overwhelming, and help me to keep moving forward in obedience. I choose to trust You today. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
GOING DEEPER
Read Exodus 5:22-6:8. Which of God’s promises (I will free you, I will rescue you, I will redeem you) do you need to hold onto most right now? Do you see any other promises in this passage?
WALK IT OUT
Write down one promise God has spoken over your life and declare it out loud, even if your circumstances don’t match it yet. Remember, if God has called you to it then He will see you through it.
