Ep. 389 - The Main Thing!

MINISTRY MOMENT

Have there been ways you have put more thought and intentionality into the titles/things you do instead of who Jesus made you to be? Your God-given identity matters MUCH more than the title you hold here on earth. Your identity has an eternal meaning!

PRAYER POINT

“God, remind me of my identity in You. Bring me back to a place of encouragement not in the things I do, but in who You created me to be and see me as. Thank You for being my Father and creating me so intentionally, thoughtfully, and specifically. I want to live from a deeply rooted understanding of my identity in You! In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

GOING DEEPER

Read and study Ephesians 2 and 2 Corinthians 5.

WALK IT OUT

What things have you placed in importance or held higher in your mind that have been taking over your identity (school, work, parenting, failures, successes, etc.)? Write down a list of who God says you are (go into the Word and find them!). Each day, repeat the list out loud to yourself to remind you of your identity in God!

SHARE WITH OTHERS

Tell others about where your identity lies and how they are seen the same way through Christ! It’s not about what you do but who God made you to be - His children!
