Ep. 876 - IF You Say So
MINISTRY MOMENT
Have you ever felt a little “iffy” about something God was asking you to do? Maybe you’ve wondered: If this is really my purpose…if this is really the path…if this is really God speaking. The good news is that God isn’t intimidated by your questions. Throughout Scripture we see people like Peter and Moses bring their “ifs” to God—and He still invited them to trust and obey. Sometimes the miracle, breakthrough, or clarity we’re waiting for comes on the other side of simply saying, “God, if You say so.” Because details always follow obedience.
PRAYER POINT
“Father, even when I have questions or doubts, help me trust Your voice. Give me the courage to obey what You are inviting me into. Teach me to flip my ‘what ifs’ into ‘if You say so.’ I trust that Your plans are better than mine and that You are with me every step of the way. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
GOING DEEPER
Read and reflect on Luke 5:1–7, Exodus 4:1–2, and Matthew 14:26–29. Spend a few minutes praying or journaling and ask the Holy Spirit to show you where you may be wrestling with “IF” faith—whether it’s about your purpose, your path, or trusting God’s presence in your life.
WALK IT OUT
When God invites you to take a step of faith, remember that details always follow obedience. Like Peter lowering the nets or stepping out of the boat, choose to respond in faith—even if you still have questions. Your obedience, even with doubts, can become a powerful testimony of faith.
SHARE WITH OTHERS
Encourage someone today who may be struggling with doubts or uncertainty. Remind them that God can handle their “ifs” and that faith often begins with a simple response: “If You say so.”
