If you're experiencing the pain of a bad hand, remember that our troubles won’t last forever. Even if our troubles last our entire lives, what is that compared to the glory we will receive when we live and reign forever with Christ? Today, to the best of our ability, let’s remember our troubles won’t last forever, and there are more cards to be dealt, and more hands to be played. Let’s remember to play the long game, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith. Our present troubles will bring a future reward!

"Father, help us persevere, even when things get hard. Help us remember to fix our eyes on eternal things, and not just on our present circumstances. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
