Ep. 890 - Dying To Be Different

MINISTRY MOMENT

Where in your life are you striving to be something instead of surrendering to who God has already called you to be? Are there areas where you’re chasing identity, validation, or purpose in things that keep leaving you empty? Jesus invites you today to stop striving and start surrendering—to lay down your way and pick up His way, trusting that true life is found in dying to yourself.

PRAYER POINT

“Father, help me to die to myself daily and take up my cross to follow You. Teach me to let go of my own ways, my own desires, and anything that is not from You. I choose surrender today, trusting that Your way leads to true life, peace, and purpose. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

GOING DEEPER

Read Luke 9:23-25 and spend time asking the Holy Spirit to reveal areas where you are still holding onto control, identity, or desires that are not aligned with Him. Journal what it looks like practically for you to “take up your cross daily” in this season.

WALK IT OUT

Being different starts with daily decisions. Choose one specific area today where you will intentionally deny yourself—whether it’s your attitude, your thoughts, or your actions—and instead choose God’s way. Let your surrender be your statement.
