Ep. 469 - Knocking at the Door

MINISTRY MOMENT

Is there an area of your life or your heart that you have become self-sufficient and don’t think you need God? Have you become lukewarm, having lost your passion for Jesus? If so, Jesus is standing at the door of your heart, knocking. If you hear Him knocking and open the door of your heart and life to Him, He will come in and have an intimate relationship with you.

PRAYER POINT

“Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends You, and lead me along the path of everlasting life. I choose to open the door of my heart to You in every area of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

GOING DEEPER

Read and study Revelations 3:14-20 and Psalm 139:23-24.

WALK IT OUT

Make a practice of daily examining your heart, actions and behaviors, to see if there is any area of your life that you need to open the door to Jesus, allowing Him to come in so that you can have a deep, intimate relationship with Him.

SHARE WITH OTHERS

When God shows you an area of your life that you need to open the door to Him, share it with a trusted friend or mentor and ask them to pray for you and encourage you in your walk with God.
