Ep. 726 - Ask God This Question

MINISTRY MOMENT

God’s voice is really loving. He speaks truth to us covered in grace and love. We don’t have to feel afraid to ask Him what He thinks or what He says about us. Hearing the truth about what God thinks of you and says about you is so powerful that it will set you free. God’s voice holds the power to free you from the conscious or subconscious tendency to self-promote and self-protect.

PRAYER POINT

“Dear God, I’ve heard what the enemy wants me to believe, I’ve heard the voice of critics, but I want to hear what You think. God, what do You say about me? What do You think about me? Where am I operating out of fear? What do I need to know that I don’t know right now? In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

GOING DEEPER

Read and meditate on John 10:1-18 and Revelation 3:20.

WALK IT OUT

Hearing from God can happen in an instant, and learning to hear God’s voice can also be a process. Listen intently, be willing to listen patiently and be open to God speaking in ways or in circumstances that you wouldn’t expect.

SHARE WITH OTHERS

Many are used to hearing that God is looking to condemn people. Let people know that God’s voice shares life-giving truth in a graceful and loving manner. Let them know that God wants to communicate with them.
