Ep. 719 - Step Out

MINISTRY MOMENT

Has God called you to do something that requires stepping out in faith before you know exactly what is going to happen? Faith is the substance and evidence of what we can’t see that God is calling us to believe and trust Him for. If we can see the outcome, we don’t need faith. We only need faith for what we can’t see. If we wait until we see it or understand it, we will never step out, and we will miss out on the blessing and miracle that God has for us. Let’s be people of faith!

PRAYER POINT

"Dear Father, I want to follow You wherever You lead me, even when I don’t know where we are going, or what the outcome will be. I choose to trust in You completely, and I ask that You grow my level of faith and trust in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

GOING DEEPER

Read and study Joshua 3, Hebrews 11, and Luke 17:12-14.

WALK IT OUT

When God puts something on your heart that requires a step of faith, seek Him for confirmation, share what you believe God is saying with a trusted mentor, asking them for counsel and to pray for you. And when you are confident that God has spoken, take the step of faith, keeping your eyes on Him and watch Him work and move in your life!

SHARE WITH OTHERS

When you believe God is calling you to step out in faith, share it with people you trust, who can pray for you and encourage you as you seek the Lord for divine direction. And as others are stepping out in faith, be a friend who will encourage and pray for them!
