Ep. 843 - Fuel for Worship

MINISTRY MOMENT

Are you being oppressed by the enemy? Do you need a breakthrough? If so, ask the Holy Spirit if there is anything you have allowed to take the place of God in your life. When you identify an idol in your life, tear it down, and use it as fuel for worship! That means you quickly bring it to the Lord, repent of allowing it to control you and take the place of God in your life, receive His forgiveness, and recommit to God as the Lord of your life.

PRAYER POINT

“Father, forgive me for allowing things of the world to become a distraction from pure devotion to you. I choose to make You the Lord of my life, and tear down any idols, using them as fuel for the fire of pure worship. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

Read and study Judges 6.

WALK IT OUT

Maintain a vibrant relationship with God throughout each day, making sure He is Lord of your life. Be aware of worldly things that try to distract you from pure devotion to God, and quickly bring them to the Lord and use those distractions as fuel for worship.

Share with a trusted friend when you have identified an idol in your life that you have brought to the Lord as fuel for worship.
