MINISTRY MOMENT

Have you not fully understood/grasped the power that your words hold? Take time to reflect on the type of speech you are using most often. Is it God-honoring? Does it point people to Jesus? Submit and surrender yourself and your words to the Lord today!

PRAYER POINT

“God, today I surrender my tongue to You. May every word that comes from my mouth bring honor and glory to Your Name. Help me to use my speech to edify, encourage, and uplift the people around me. Would I be a reflection of You through the words I use! In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

GOING DEEPER

Read and study Matthew 12:22-37 and Proverbs 10.

WALK IT OUT

Write down types of words you often use. Maybe they are connected to certain situations, people, or environments. Are there any areas you need to grow in the types of words you use? Maybe it’s easier to lash out in frustration in certain places versus others. Maybe it’s easier to encourage in specific environments versus others. Ask the Lord to strengthen and equip you to be a "kingdom language" carrier in ALL the places you go!

SHARE WITH OTHERS

Others should notice the difference in speech you use! Share what shifted with them. Point them to Jesus and how you live for His glory, not to please the world!
