Ep. 431 - Playing Defense

MINISTRY MOMENT

Do you agree that the correct defensive stance in basketball will help increase the likelihood of winning the game? If that can be true for a simple game (with little real-world consequences), how much more would it help our spiritual lives?

PRAYER POINT

"Father, thank You that YOU have an amazing plan and purpose for my life. I recognize that I have an important defensive part to play in being ready and alert against Satan’s attacks and schemes. I thank You that ultimately I have victory because of the blood of Jesus. In the name of Jesus, I pray, Amen!"

WALK IT OUT

1 Peter 5:8 says that our enemy, Satan, is like a prowling lion, looking for who he may devour. The truth is that we will encounter resistance and temptations, every single day. If we remain ready and alert, we can have confidence that in the name of Jesus, and in His mighty power in our lives, we can resist those temptations and experience victory.
