Ep. 3 - Releasing Offenses

MINISTRY MOMENT

Are you holding onto an offense? Is there someone you need to forgive in order to release the enemy’s bait?

PRAYER POINT

Father, thank you for your forgiveness that you have freely given me. Help me to forgive those who have offended me. Please guard my heart and make me alert to the enemy’s bait of offense, so that I don’t even take the bait! Keep my heart pure toward others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

GOING DEEPER

Read and study Luke 6:22-23, and 27-36.

WALK IT OUT

Forgive those who have offended you. Make a conscious choice to not take the bait of offense in the future. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you stay free from offense.

SHARE WITH OTHERS

Tell someone about the monkeys in Africa who are trapped just because they refuse to let go of the bait. Explain that offense is the bait the enemy uses to trap us, so in order to stay free, we need to forgive others when they hurt us!
