MINISTRY MOMENT

How do you view God when a difficult situation/season arises? Do you lean into Him or do you lean into yourself and your strength? Do you trust in the plans/purposes God says He has for you in His Word? Why or why not?

PRAYER POINT

“Jesus, forgive me for the ways I have turned to myself instead of You, and the times I have chosen my feelings over my faith. Thank You for working on my behalf. You are a good Father who has only good plans for me. Thank You for preparing a place for me in Heaven! Refill the breath in my lungs and strengthen my soul to continue in the calling You have for my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

GOING DEEPER

Read and study Job 19:7-27 and Job 27:1-12.

WALK IT OUT

Write down some of the promises of God that you often struggle to believe during difficult seasons. Put them in your Bible or on your nightstand. Commit to memorize them and watch as your faith increases and your eyes turn to the Promise Keeper!

SHARE WITH OTHERS

Many people will not understand how Christians can walk through trials with the joy of the Lord and a peace that surpasses understanding. As a Christian, be vulnerable and share with people around you (believers or unbelievers) what God has taught you in hard seasons!
