Ep. 358 - Know Your Test

MINISTRY MOMENT

As you grow in your spiritual maturity, it is important to “know your tests.” We all go through tests in life and there are tests of transformation and there are tests of temptation. Be encouraged today that through God's power working in our lives, we can tell the difference!

PRAYER POINT

"Father, thank You for growing me by giving tests that are for my good and that bring transformation. God, help me discern between the tests of transformation and the tests of temptation. I am trusting and leaning on You because You have never failed me. In Jesus’ name, Amen."

GOING DEEPER

Read and study Luke 4:1-13 and Ephesians 6:10-17. Reflect to see if there have been times the enemy has met you in your wilderness and if you put on the armor of God to stand firm.

WALK IT OUT

Ask yourself and even weigh it with the Lord to see if you may be in a season of being tested for transformation, where you will grow and mature. When you are in a test of temptation, take the encouragement from Ephesians and “stand firm” with the armor of God.

SHARE WITH OTHERS

Encourage and pray for friends and family when they are going through tests. Paul tells us to pray for all the Lord’s people.
