Have you found it difficult to leave your past in your past — trusting in the Lord to provide and bless your future?

PRAYER POINT

Father, thank You that YOU have redeemed my past of sin through the precious blood of Jesus! I recognize that what lays in front of me is more important than what is behind me. I pray that I will have the courage and wisdom to deal with the things in my past and leave them completely at your feet. Help me to trust in You and Your perfect plan for my future. In the name of Jesus, I pray, Amen!

Study the amazing simplicity of Isaiah 43:18. Read Jeremiah 29:11 and Philippians 3:13-14.

WALK IT OUT

When troubling aspects of your past flood your mind — go to the Lord in prayer and make sure that you have confidently given it to Him.

You are not alone. Many Christians struggle with leaving their past behind them. Remember that your past does not belong to you — Jesus paid for it! If people around you are experiencing similar feelings of fear or doubt about their past, look for opportunities to share these truths with them.
