Ep. 457 - The Winter Season

MINISTRY MOMENT

Are you in a winter season in your soul? Are you going through a difficult time, experiencing loss or pain? Do you feel hopeless and alone? If so, understand that you are in a winter season, and even though it’s difficult, God is in it with you and He will use it in your life and your relationship with Him.

PRAYER POINT

“Father, thank You that You are with me in every season of life. Please teach me to steward the season I am in. And when I go through a winter season in my soul, please help me to walk by faith and not by sight, with my eyes on You! I choose to trust You in every season. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

GOING DEEPER

Read and study Psalm 42 and 2 Corinthians 4.

WALK IT OUT

When you are in a winter season - a season of trial, loneliness or pain, choose to look to Jesus and walk by faith and not by sight. Trust that He will bring you through the barren season into a season of fruitfulness.

SHARE WITH OTHERS

Be open and vulnerable with people you trust. When you are in a winter season, ask them to pray for you. And when a friend is going through a winter season, be an encouragement to them.
