Ep. 395 - A Copy of a Copy
MINISTRY MOMENT
We have to be careful what we copy. If we spend our time copying what the world says a Christian should look like, or copying what other people (who say they are Christians), and what they look like, we are in danger of becoming unrecognizable as a Christ follower. Even the Apostle Paul carefully says, “Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.” Christ is the original. He is the one we must model our life after. We can’t model our life after what we think we should, or what others think we should. We are called to be like Jesus.
PRAYER POINT
“Father, transform us into the image of Your Son. Help us keep our eyes on You, the author and finisher of our faith, so we can boldly become image bearers of Your Son.”
GOING DEEPER
Read and study Romans 12:2 and 1 Corinthians 11:1. Have you ever made a copy of a copy? What do you think we are in danger of losing when we start copying without going to the right source?
WALK IT OUT
What practical steps can you take to mold your life after Jesus. The original example for our faith!
