Ep. 271 - Forget the Parachute

MINISTRY MOMENT

Sometimes we can begin to think we’re pretty well put together, but the fact of the matter is - we’re not! We need God’s grace. We’re lost without it.

PRAYER POINT

"Dear God, I am completely dependent on You for everything. I need Your grace. I need YOU. I’m lost without You. I’m NOT enough on my own. Guide me, direct me, and help me. I surrender myself to Your will. Amen."

GOING DEEPER

Read Romans 3:24 and Ephesians 2:8.

WALK IT OUT

Pause for a moment and self reflect - acknowledge your dependency on Jesus. Surrender to His will and His ways. His ways are higher than ours. His plan is better than anything you could ever hope, dream or imagine.

Next time you’re in conversation with a friend or family member, be willing to dive into this topic of conversation. Talk about times you’ve had the realization that you weren’t enough, and that you were completely dependent on the Lord. Give an example of a situation where you initially tried navigating it on your own and then decided to hand it over to the Lord.
