Ep. 350 - Silencing Fear

MINISTRY MOMENT

Are you in the midst of a storm? What does God say about your situation? Is there a truth from the Scriptures that you can stand on? Choose to trust God and keep your eyes on Him instead of the storm!

PRAYER POINT

"Father, thank You that Your promises are true. I can trust You to take care of me and see me through the storms of life. Keep me from allowing fear to rob me of faith. I believe that You will do what You say You will do and I receive by faith every one of Your promises! In Jesus’ name, Amen."

GOING DEEPER

Read and study Mark 4:35-41.

WALK IT OUT

When you encounter a trial or storm in your life, choose to look to Jesus and trust Him to see you through. Activate your faith so that fear will not have any place in your heart or your life.

SHARE WITH OTHERS

Share with others the story about Jesus calming the storm. Point out the fact that the disciples allowed fear to cause them to question whether or not Jesus cared, and robbed them of their faith to participate in the miracle! Encourage them to keep their eyes on Jesus as they go through the storms of life!
