ABOUT REV CITY YOUTH (RCY)
Rev City Youth (RCY) is our weekly Wednesday night youth ministry at Rev City Church for students in 6-12th grade. RCY is loaded with worship, friends, small groups, and a message geared towards students and their everyday life. Our goal is to create an experience where students can meet Christ and grow in their relationship with Him. Doors open at 6:15PM and students need to be picked up no later than 8:30PM.

RCY IS NOW MEETING IN PERSON!
We are so excited that Rev City Youth (RCY) is now meeting again in person! Our church leadership has consulted with our Health Department to develop plans that align with recent restrictions and recommendations.. Service plans includes reduced Sanctuary seating that will allow students to social distance, amended Greet Team & Altar Ministry Team procedures, multiple touchless sanitizing stations and thorough sanitizing measures in place. Due to Kansas’ mandatory face mask order, all students will be required to wear a mask upon arrival. However, once students are seated in the Sanctuary where social distancing can take place, masks may be removed, if desired.
We know this has been a challenging season for everyone, but now more than ever our students need to hear God’s Word. They need to hear God’s truth, and they need to experience His love. Our prayer is that face mask or not, God’s love would penetrate their hearts! If you have any questions, please contact micah@revcity.com.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT RCY
Every student who walks through our doors on Wednesday nights is greeted by a group of excited people ready to welcome you to another heart-pumping night at RCY! If it is your first visit, that’s awesome. You’ll be directed to a kiosk to give us a little information about yourself. It’s very important for us to know who you are, who your parents are, and how to get in contact in case of emergency and to let you know about upcoming events at Rev City Youth.
Safety is extremely important to us. All of our volunteers are background-checked and trained to create a safe, secure environment for every student.
3 THINGS WE VALUE
1.Real Relationships!!!!!!!
At the heart of what we do is the never ending desire to deepen our relationship with God through the life changing power of Jesus. However, we also value relationships with others. At the end of most RCY experiences, students break out into small groups to discuss the night’s message, chat about life, and answer any questions they might have. Life can be difficult and doubts of all kinds can creep in, particularly with teenagers. Having friends and adult leaders is critical to understanding who we are in Christ. Our small groups provide space for students and leaders to talk through tough questions.
2.Relevant Teaching
Students are faced with very high level questions. Who is God really? What difference does He make in my life? Who am I? What is my purpose? How do I know if I’m making the best decisions? The Bible provides relevant answers to questions like these. Our teaching provides biblical, foundational truth for questions teenagers deal with every day.
3.Fun
RCY is a great place for students to do their favorite things: play games, listen to music, and hang out with friends. There’s always something selfie-worthy or ready to add to a Snapchat story. Students will definitely want to share what’s happening at RCY.
STUDENTS SERVING
We believe students are not the leaders of tomorrow, but the leaders of today. Volunteering in their local church is one of the best ways for students to make their faith their own. Through our student leadership program, students can begin to be the church and develop their leadership while volunteering not only on Wednesday nights, but in many different areas on Sunday mornings. From Cafe Baristas to helping with Rev City Kids ministry – there’s a place for you!
ADULTS SERVING
Today’s youth will be leading our church tomorrow. It’s important to help them develop a strong foundation of faith and friendships that will help them boldly follow God’s will. If you have a passion to see youth on fire for Jesus, start by volunteering at RCY and help students discover who they can be through Christ.
